Daniel had mocked the clause during negotiations.

Now his signature removed him from the family trust until a court determined whether he acted knowingly.
Evelyn returned with hospital counsel and called Amara manipulative.
“You designed a trap while my son was emotional.”
Amara answered, “A wealthy executive abandons five newborns and becomes emotional. A recovering mother protects them and becomes calculating.”
The nurses confirmed that every baby remained safe and that Daniel refused testing before leaving.
Hospital security preserved Evelyn’s threat about declaring Amara unstable.
Then the trust administrator arrived.
The five children did not merely inherit money. Together, they controlled the deciding votes in Pierce Medical Holdings.
Evelyn demanded an emergency guardianship.
The administrator shook his head.
“You cannot petition for them.”
