HE ABANDONED FIVE HEIRS. / Chapter 7 / 10

Chapter 7 - THE SCHOLARSHIP THAT PURCHASED HER.

Amara’s mother, Denise Carter, had worked as a Pierce hospital billing clerk.

Records showed she discovered the gender-based trust scheme and redirected one payment to Amara’s tuition before she died.

Daniel seized on it.

“Your family stole too.”

Amara answered, “Then investigate it. Accountability does not become unfair when it reaches me.”

Gloria testified that Denise had tried to repay the money through payroll deductions, but Evelyn blocked the repayment because the hidden debt made Amara easier to control later.

Rebecca looked at Evelyn.

“You did not fund a scholarship. You purchased leverage over a working-class girl.”

Amara placed her own benefit under independent review and refused a board seat until restitution was calculated.

The employee council demanded that worker pensions be restored before any Pierce heir received dividends.

Then the hospital produced Denise’s last recorded call.

She had warned Evelyn that five future girls would activate Rebecca’s trust.

Amara stared at the date.

The call happened years before she met Daniel.
