Federal agents located Rachel in a secured medical facility under a false identity, declared mentally unfit.
Vanessa claimed she entered voluntarily.
Rachel said through the glass:
“You stole my name, my children, and my wages — then called it treatment.”
Cross replied:
“A cafeteria worker cannot manage the settlement she was about to receive.”
Records showed school employee retirement funds had been diverted into a private foundation controlled by Vanessa’s father.
Michael had unknowingly invested through his construction company.
He withdrew immediately and submitted to investigation.
Vanessa mocked him:
“You’ll ruin yourself for children who aren’t even yours.”
Michael replied:
“They were never yours to sell.”
