Chapter 6 - THE HOSPITAL VISIT SHE DENIED.

Victoria claimed she visited Charles to discuss estate planning.
The hospital’s camera footage showed something else.
She removed a folder from beneath his bed, placed documents before his weakened hand, and later told the nurse he had become irrational.
The altered will transferred Maya’s shares to Victoria after Charles’s death.
Adrian looked at his former fiancée.
“You knew who Maya was before you humiliated her.”
Victoria’s voice turned cold.
“I knew she was a threat. Do not confuse blood with suitability. She grew up around staff apartments, unpaid bills, and resentment.”
Maya stepped closer.
“You mean I grew up around the people who kept this family rich.”
The nurse’s statement revealed Charles repeatedly asked for Elena before his death.
Victoria told him Elena had died years earlier.
But Elena’s death certificate had been filed only six months ago.
Someone had kept her alive under another name.
Rosa recognized the payment account on the hospital records.
It belonged to a private residential clinic used by the Whitmore Foundation.
Then a live message appeared on Victoria’s phone.
“Transfer Elena before the police arrive.”
