Thomas Reed entered the trust hearing and admitted meeting Blake.
Blake had offered to restore his pension if Thomas signed a statement declaring the identity theft voluntary.
Thomas refused, but he had also remained silent for years after Margaret threatened the housing of twenty-two families.
“I thought my disappearance protected them,” he said.
Rosa answered, “It protected the house. It did not protect the truth.”
Thomas accepted review for documents he had once signed under pressure. No victim received automatic leadership, and no heir kept authority through blood alone.
The mansion became worker-owned cooperative housing and a public labor center. Delivery drivers recovered tips, false debts were canceled and the engagement loan collapsed. Blake lost the company and faced prosecution. Emily ended the engagement and testified without seeking applause.
Noah’s helmet, the master keys and the unpaid food bill were displayed beneath glass.
A plaque read:
“HE CALLED THE DRIVER BENEATH HIM IN A HOUSE WORKERS HAD PAID TO SAVE.”
