Charles admitted processing the identity file when he was a junior banker.
He said Margaret threatened to move the Mercer accounts unless he approved the documents.
“I had a family to support.”
Emily’s voice turned cold. “So did Thomas Reed.”
Charles had later financed Blake’s delivery platform, despite audits showing drivers lost tips through unexplained service adjustments.
He defended the loans as support for innovation.
Noah held up a driver statement.
“You financed a system that charged workers for uniforms, insurance and late deliveries, then called their debt flexibility.”
Several guests admitted investing in the platform. They had praised its growth without asking why driver turnover was so high.
Rosa’s grandson, Luis, entered wearing the same neon delivery vest as Noah. His account showed twelve hundred dollars in missing tips.
Blake accused Noah of staging the confrontation with employees.
Noah said, “You staged a fortune. We brought receipts.”
Then Luis showed the final delivery assignment on his phone.
