The hospital reservation described Lena as delusional, violent, and unsafe around her daughter.
No doctor had examined her.
The evaluation was signed by a physician employed through the Cole Family Foundation.
Ethan shrugged.
“She needed help. Women from unstable backgrounds often confuse privilege with persecution.”
Nora’s eyes filled with anger.
“Her background was stable until your family started threatening her home, job, and child.”
The documents showed Ethan planned to stage the elevator-lobby scene as proof Lena had suffered a public breakdown. Security footage would begin only after she fell.
Mr. Harris admitted Ethan ordered the lobby camera disabled.
But he had secretly redirected the recording to an old maintenance server.
“I watched your father destroy employees who spoke up,” he said. “I wasn’t going to watch you erase another woman.”
Ethan called him a bitter servant.
Mr. Harris stepped closer.
“My wife lost her pension while your family renovated the penthouse. Bitterness is what you call memory when poor people refuse to forget.”
Victor recovered the full video.
It showed Ethan pushing Lena’s shoulder before raising the cane.
It also showed someone placing the hospital bracelet inside Nora’s bag.
The person wore white gloves and a diamond bracelet.
Margaret recognized the jewelry.
It belonged to Ethan’s wife, Celeste.
Lena looked stunned.
Celeste had been comforting Mia in the ballroom minutes earlier.
