Thomas admitted signing Ana’s commitment petition after Eleanor threatened to deport vineyard families. “I chose the workers I could save,” he said. Olivia’s grief became fury. “You chose which woman would pay for your courage.” The court released Ana under care. Their reunion was slow, without easy forgiveness. Ana said Eleanor had taken her infant daughter and raised her near the estate so the worker claim could be absorbed through marriage. Grant had been selected before Olivia met him. “My feelings became real,” he insisted. Olivia removed her ring. “Real feelings do not erase a calculated beginning.” A federal court froze the vineyard and installed worker oversight. Field hands entered the boardroom while wealthy relatives watched outside. Eleanor called it mob rule. Rosa replied, “We harvested every bottle you sold. You were the guest at our company.” Then Ana revealed Olivia had a twin sister: Celeste, Grant’s younger cousin and the woman who filmed the terrace fall.
