Chapter 7 - THE WARRANT DATED TOMORROW.

Claire admitted leaving the clinic secretly after a nurse helped expose the false guardianship. Instead of contacting Adrian, she entered the mansion through the service tunnels and copied the remaining trust files.
“You watched Sophie from behind walls?” Adrian asked.
“I watched until I knew Margaret could not move her.”
Sophie remained with her court-appointed guardian while the adults spoke.
Rosa did not allow Claire’s fear to become automatic innocence.
“You preserved evidence while workers received eviction notices.”
Claire accepted removal from any leadership role until the council reviewed her choices.
The hidden files revealed Malcolm had not acted for Margaret alone. He reported to the Ashford board, including Adrian’s uncle, Judge Samuel Ashford, who approved the guardianship orders and worker competency rulings.
Judge Ashford arrived with an emergency warrant accusing Claire, Elena and Rosa of conspiring to steal the estate.
Rosa held up the original deed.
“We cannot steal what our wages bought.”
Then the federal attorney examined the warrant.
