The fabricated video used rehearsal footage, altered audio, and close-ups of the cosmetic streaks placed on Isabella’s skin.
It was designed to make viewers believe she attacked Cameron during an argument over money.
Diane had already sent it to a crisis-public-relations firm.
At 1:00 a.m., anonymous accounts would post it across social media.
Cameron looked sick.
“They were going to make the whole country hate you.”
Isabella answered, “They knew strangers would believe a poor bride trapped a rich man. They only had to give prejudice a video.”
Robert ordered the release stopped.
Sofia reminded him that the same hotel network had destroyed employees with edited security footage for years.
Waiters accused of theft. Housekeepers blamed for missing jewelry. Vineyard workers labeled violent after demanding wages.
Isabella refused a private settlement.
She released the unedited files, the forged easement, and the basement audio to investigators.
Diane called her vindictive.
“You will destroy hundreds of jobs to punish one family.”
Mateo answered from the doorway.
“You always hide behind workers after stealing from them.”
The wedding trust activated at midnight.
Because the marriage had not been annulled, Isabella received the protected voting share.
She used it immediately to freeze the resort, preserve employee payroll, and remove Julian from financial authority.
Then police found Julian at the private airstrip.
He was carrying two passports.
One belonged to Claire.
