David insisted he had never approved medication for Julia or Ethan.
A forensic analyst confirmed the signature was genuine but copied from a hospital consent form David signed after Julia collapsed.
Evelyn had attached it to the treatment authorization.
She showed no remorse.
“You signed because your wife needed help. Do not rewrite your weakness as my crime.”
David’s anger broke through his control.
“You took my fear, forged my consent and used both to destroy the woman I loved.”
Evelyn laughed bitterly.
“Julia was a billing clerk who thought marrying into this family made her qualified to question our finances.”
Melanie stepped closer.
“She understood the accounts because people like her actually processed the bills your family refused to pay.”
Former Whitmore employees began contacting investigators.
A caregiver lost her home after challenging missing insurance deductions.
A driver’s wife was denied cancer treatment until he signed a false statement against Julia.
A housekeeper was threatened with deportation accusations after seeing medication delivered to the mansion.
Evelyn called them disgruntled servants.
David faced her.
“They cooked your food, raised your children and kept your father alive. You stole from them, then used the word ‘servant’ as if labor were shameful.”
Rebecca surrendered text messages proving Evelyn promised her control of Ethan’s trust if David were declared negligent.
Rebecca claimed she agreed only because she feared losing family support.
David answered coldly.
“You were afraid of losing luxury, so you gambled with a child’s health.”
Then Melanie found a hidden audio file on Ethan’s phone.
