The recording showed her alive inside a Whitmore residential clinic.
She said Sloan and Ethan’s father confined her after she located Lucy’s birth records.
Her diagnosis described an obsession with class persecution.
A doctor had converted accurate accusations into symptoms.
Sloan called the clinic compassionate care.
Claire’s voice turned cold.
“You erased a working woman, locked her away and billed the foundation for kindness.”
Ethan recognized his signature on Helen’s annual guardianship renewal.
He had signed a stack of charity documents without reading the patient’s name.
Lucy looked at him.
“Did you help keep Grandma there?”
“I helped by never asking,” he answered.
Police located Helen alive and mentally clear. She had preserved the original medical records inside a sewing pattern book.
Those records proved Lucy’s birth had been concealed.
They also revealed the name of the person who first ordered the separation.
