Chapter 8 - THE DETECTIVE WHO BURIED HIS WIFE’S EVIDENCE.

Christopher learned his father, a respected Baltimore detective, had buried clinic complaints in exchange for treatment for Christopher’s younger brother.

“My family benefited while others were violated,” he said.

Kelsey answered, “Then put the evidence where everyone can see it.”

Christopher reported the conflict, stepped away from the case and surrendered his father’s files without seeking immunity for the estate.

Elena faced him.

Victims formed an independent council to control the records and contact families safely.

Ryan agreed to testify, but the council rejected protection from prison.

Then Grace’s genetic report arrived.

Kelsey was her biological mother.

Ryan was not her biological father.
