Margaret admitted she had originally supported the transfer.
Three days earlier, she believed Derek’s claim that Sophia had joined outside investors trying to break up Ashford Development.
Derek told her the pension accusations were fabricated and Sophia intended to sell the family company.
Margaret agreed to pressure Sophia into signing a temporary voting agreement.
She arranged the security convoy not to arrest Derek, but to ensure Sophia could not leave the estate before the family documents were completed.
The confession devastated Sophia.
Margaret’s intervention in the cellar had been real.

Employee pensions were restored using Ashford estates, artwork, investment properties, and the wine collection.
The cellar itself was sold first.
Sophia declined the mansion ownership offered through her marital agreement.
She requested a protected divorce, independent medical evaluation, and full public correction of every claim calling her unstable.
Derek lost executive authority.
Helen agreed to testify.
The family doctor surrendered his files.
