Charles Whitmore’s death certificate placed him in Switzerland before Isaiah’s hospitalization.
Flight records showed his jet landed in Maryland the night Isaiah was confined.
Eleanor admitted Charles had survived the reported heart attack and lived secretly under foundation protection while the family avoided creditors.
Ryan stared at her.
“You let me mourn him while he controlled my life from another country.”
Eleanor answered, “He believed distance protected the family.”
Maya replied, “Your family uses protection to mean everyone poorer must carry the cost.”
Federal agents found Charles alive at a private estate in Virginia.
He showed no remorse.
“Employees were compensated according to their station.”
Gloria placed her husband’s unpaid medical bills before him.
“Our station was beneath the risk and above none of the reward.”
Charles claimed Isaiah planned to sell the company.
The ledger proved Isaiah wanted workers to own it.
Then Charles produced audio of Maya meeting him one year earlier.
