Charles claimed the recording was fabricated, but the hotel’s audio engineer matched it to his gala rehearsal.

The vial contained a legal pediatric sedative, yet no doctor had prescribed it to Lily.

Grant insisted he only intended to calm her during transportation.

Mara stared at him.

“A frightened child is not disorder you are entitled to medicate.”

Federal agents arrived and detained Grant, but Commissioner Reeves attempted to classify the ledger as sealed juvenile evidence.

Elena revealed why.

The same placement network had handled more than eighty children whose parents were hotel cleaners, cafeteria workers, drivers and nurses.

Families who challenged unpaid wages were declared unstable. Their children were moved, and trust funds followed them.

A housekeeper named Rosa stepped forward.

“My son disappeared into that system twelve years ago.”

Charles called her accusation emotional.

Rosa answered, “Rich families call grief emotional when paperwork favors them.”

Mara searched the case again and found a tiny memory card beneath the lining.

The first image showed Rosa’s missing son, now an adult.
