Helen admitted Miriam had encouraged the introduction at a charity event. She believed Garrick was polished, educated and capable of giving Sienna security.
Sienna’s eyes filled.
“You saw wealth and mistook it for safety.”
Helen accepted the truth.
“I judged his family by the rooms they entered, not the people they silenced.”
Emails showed Miriam had studied Sienna’s trust, medical history and relationship with Helen before arranging the meeting. Garrick’s courtship followed a detailed schedule designed by family consultants.
Daniel, the family attorney, had written: “Make her feel chosen before she learns she was selected.”
The marriage was annulled for fraud. Garrick and Miriam faced charges for coercion, evidence tampering and financial crimes. Fletcher’s deputy was arrested, while Fletcher submitted his office to outside review.
Then Rosa found a hidden account under Sienna’s name containing payments from Ashford Development.
Garrick smiled for the first time.
“Ask your daughter why she was paid every month.”
