Adrian froze every acquisition and stepped down from the board pending review.
An elderly former housekeeper named Rosa Grant arrived with a rejected claim for her husband’s care.
“We paid into that foundation every paycheck,” she said. “They called us family until we needed the money back.”
The audit traced denied medical claims to the mansion renovation, Adrian’s London office and Victoria’s charity galas.
Adrian looked around the marble foyer above them.
“This house was polished with stolen care money.”
