Vincent ordered his guards to the airfield, but Daniel laughed.
“You taught us that the family survives by controlling the room.”
Vincent heard his own cruelty reflected back at him.
Years earlier, he had rejected Michael for marrying Rosa, promoted Daniel because he looked respectable, and ignored every worker who warned him about payroll theft.
Daniel had turned that lesson into a criminal empire.
Federal agents uncovered messages showing he had arranged the mechanical failure that killed Michael, then used the tragedy to seize control of the trust.
Celeste had hidden Ava because her existence could undo everything.
Ava stood trembling, yet she faced Daniel.
“My dad died because you wanted his money?”
Daniel said Michael had chosen a maid over his blood.
Vincent removed the Callahan ring from his hand.
“Rosa and Ava were his blood. You were only his betrayal.”
An agent rushed back into the hall.
The airfield hangar had been found.
