Agnes smiled wickedly, stepping away from the corner.

They had spent months meticulously building a fake medical history to destroy her life.
The grey powder wasn't meant to kill Leo. It was intended to cause a specific allergic reaction.
They needed a medical emergency to justify tearing the baby from Clara's arms permanently.
