Chapter 7 - THE FEDS ARRIVE.

The digital panel on the wall shifted from Julian's private network to a secure federal seal.
“Mrs. Sterling, this is Agent Harris,” a calm, authoritative voice echoed from the panel.
“The smart bottle's distress signal bypassed your local network and reached a federal biosecurity database.”
The battering ram hit the door again, cracking the hinges.
“My husband's private security team is trying to breach the room,” Clara stated clearly.
“Hold your position. Federal agents have entered the estate,” Agent Harris replied.
Outside the door, the sound of the battering ram abruptly stopped.
Shouting erupted in the hallway, followed by the unmistakable sound of equipment being dropped to the floor.
“FBI! Hands on the wall!” multiple voices ordered outside.
The private security team, accustomed to intimidating local authorities, was immediately overwhelmed by the federal raid.
Julian’s arrogant voice turned into a frightened cry as agents forced him to the ground.
Agnes’s cruel smile completely vanished.
The older woman frantically began wiping the counter, trying to eliminate every trace of the grey powder.
“It's too late for that, Agnes,” Clara said coldly.
The heavy nursery door was forced open.
Six federal agents entered and secured the room.
Agent Harris stepped inside, a tall man in a sharp suit.
He looked at the digital biohazard hologram still projecting from the bottle's base.
“Take her into custody,” Harris ordered, pointing at the nanny.

An agent restrained Agnes and secured her wrists with handcuffs.
As the agents led the nanny away, Clara noticed something glowing beneath the changing table.
