Chapter 10 - THE DAUGHTER THOMAS NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED.

Rose Hale was found alive at a private residence in rural Pennsylvania under another name. She had opposed Thomas’s covenant because it did not initially include farmworkers and domestic employees outside the mansion.
Vanessa confined Rose, seized her farmhouse and used its basement as the archive where altered wills and competency forms were prepared.
The court restored Rose’s identity and returned the property. Cross Residential became a resident-worker nonprofit governed by elders, nurses and affected families. Naomi regained her bungalow. The Fair Haven Covenant recovered the mansion and Hale company shares.
Vanessa and Julian lost authority and faced trial. David and Eleanor surrendered profits tied to the scheme and could regain no role without an election.
The red heel, unsigned papers and hidden camera entered an elder-rights archive beneath the chandelier.
A plaque read:
“THEY CALLED HER FRAIL BECAUSE HER SIGNATURE STOOD BETWEEN THEM AND HER HOME.”
At the dedication, Rose gave Carter one unopened envelope from Thomas.
