Chapter 10 - THE SECOND BABY IN THE CALDWELL FILE.

Clinic records revealed Maya’s blood samples had been taken during an employee health screening and used in an illegal inheritance program.
Ethan’s genetic material came from a family fertility evaluation.
Victoria and Eleanor planned to produce an heir they could control, discredit Maya and take custody before birth.
Maya refused to let the child become family property.
“This baby is not a key to your hotel.”
Eleanor, Victoria, the judge and the clinic director were convicted. The clinic’s records were placed under victim control, and affected families received independent legal support.
The hotel lobby became a worker-owned public gallery.
Maya’s housekeeping cart was displayed beneath a plaque:
“THEY THOUGHT HER UNIFORM MADE HER INVISIBLE.”
Ethan remained involved only under boundaries Maya set. Responsibility did not buy reconciliation.
At the reopening gala, Samuel found another clinic file hidden beneath the cart.
It listed a second embryo created from Maya and Ethan’s samples.
The transfer occurred.
The intended mother was Elena Torres.
