Federal agents raided the underground clinic and found medical equipment, forged adoption files and contracts linking wealthy donors to vulnerable hotel employees.
No baby had yet been delivered, but a pregnant banquet worker named Maria Lopez had been transferred to a private suite under false pretenses.
She believed the Cole Foundation was paying for prenatal care.
The contract actually surrendered her child to the family immediately after birth.
Maria faced Margaret from a hospital video call.
“They told me my baby would die without their doctors.”

Vanessa finally admitted she had helped Lauren prepare Maria’s contract.
She claimed she believed the baby would be safe and privileged.
Maria answered, “You do not rescue a child by stealing its mother.”
Lauren was arrested at the airport carrying the fertility records and millions in foundation bonds.
She offered evidence against Lydia and Charles’s former attorneys.
The board canceled every transfer and placed the clinic under survivor control.
Ruby thought the nightmare was ending.
