“My daughters belong with their biological father.”
Sarah’s reply was immediate.
“You did not comfort them, protect them or even know their favorite songs. Biology does not erase the terror you authorized.”
Black argued that Sarah’s dangerous work made her unfit.
Lily faced him through a child-safe interview.
“You signed papers before Victoria scared me.”
Emma added softly, “And you never came when I cried.”
Their words destroyed his performance of concern.
An independent court denied him all contact and ordered a full investigation into the medical program.
The workers’ council voted to turn the mansion into emergency housing for families fighting corrupt custody orders.
Housekeepers entered through the glass front doors while Harrington portraits were removed.
Eleanor watched from jail as the people she called servants took control of her foundation.
Daniel accepted criminal liability for delaying intervention and agreed to testify without immunity.
Sarah did not promise reconciliation.
Accountability came before family comfort.
Then Teresa opened the first worker ledger.
The custody network had not been created by Eleanor.
It began as a rescue program for poor mothers facing eviction and hospitalization.
