THE WOMAN HE THREW DOWN. / Chapter 10 / 10

Chapter 10 - THE WOMAN WITH CLAIRE’S FACE.

Samuel admitted meeting Eleanor but denied planning violence.

He had agreed to expose the forged contract during the wedding because private complaints had failed for decades.

Eleanor changed the plan and ordered Ethan to provoke Claire physically.

“You used my humiliation as leverage,” Claire said.

Samuel did not hide behind the cause.

“I believed one public moment could free hundreds of families. I was wrong to choose your pain for you.”

The worker board removed him from leadership while preserving his testimony.

No hero received immunity.

Ethan, Eleanor, Madison and Judge Reed were convicted. Victor and Rebecca lost control of their companies and funded restitution.

The ballroom became a worker-owned legal center.

Claire’s torn blue gown and silver clutch were displayed beneath glass.

A plaque read:

“THEY THREW HER DOWN BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT POWER ONLY LOOKED UP.”

At the opening ceremony, the hidden phone activated again.

A live video showed another bride standing in a Whitmore hotel ballroom.

Behind her, Victor raised the same forged contract.
