Ethan admitted accepting Rebecca’s payment.
He claimed he returned because he loved Claire.
She looked at him across the ruined wedding table.

Judge Reed, Eleanor, Ethan and Madison were charged with fraud, coercion and conspiracy. Victor and Rebecca agreed to testify without immunity for the decisions they had hidden.
The worker board recovered homes, pensions and voting rights.
Both companies entered public oversight while ownership claims were reviewed.
Claire refused automatic leadership.
“My last name does not make me more qualified than the people who carried these companies.”
Samuel nodded but did not praise her.
“Good choices do not erase what came before.”
Then federal agents examined the silver clutch.
Its lining contained a second phone, hidden there before Claire entered the ballroom.
The final file showed Samuel meeting Eleanor one week earlier.
He said, “Humiliate Claire publicly, and the workers finally get control.”
