Engineers removed the units safely. Each carried the mark of Hayes Industrial, Margaret’s family company.
Margaret admitted Leonard knew they were unstable and used Plant Three to force Whitmore into an exclusive replacement contract.
Arthur discovered the fraud later and stayed silent because exposure would destroy both families.
Claire looked at him.
